Infrared Heaters and Your Health

Infrared Heaters and Your Health

Everyone knows that fruits and vegetables are good for us, but not everyone is aware that heat is also very important to the proper functioning of the body.

Cold Isn’t Good For You

Just think back to a time when you were so cold, all you could think about was getting warm.  Your body needs and wants to be in a state where it will function optimally, and cold temperatures put so much stress on it that it’s in a state of mild shock.

Thermal Energy Will Soothe Your Muscles

That’s where infrared heaters come in.  They are known to provide health benefits for the body because of the way the heat is transmitted. They emit energy thermally which penetrates deep into the muscles within the body which gives a very soothing effect.  Because of this, infrared heaters are preferred over other types of space heaters.

Infrared Heaters Will Rejuvenate and Produce Well-Being

Some of the infrared heaters have copper ionization panels within their combustion chamber which produce negative ions.  As these ions are released into the atmosphere, they have a very positive effect on the human body which promotes a rejuvenating feeling of health and well-being. They also help clean the air by removing pollutants such as smoke and dust, which makes the house smell fresh and clean.

The normal coils found in other types of heaters do not provide these ions; they actually produce the opposite effect of the infrared heaters. They generate positively charged fields which resemble those found in polluted areas, such as industrial sites. These tend to weaken the human body and can generate fatigue in the body tissues which can then lead to illness.

Better Air Quality Will Result In Better Health

During the winter, the air quality inside the house is reduced due to the use of other combustion equipment. By using infrared heaters, you can avoid this since they come with an built-in electrostatic air filter which removes dust and other pollutants from the air. This reduces the susceptibility to colds and even the flu which helps to keep your family healthy during the winter.

This is especially critical during this season when you spend so much time inside the house. Since the air is so fresh and clean, it also helps reduce allergic attacks in your children.

Stiff Joints Will Be Relieved

An additional benefit of the infrared heater is the relief of stiff joints and the reduction of pain within those joints.   Since the heat penetrates deep into the skin making the blood vessels dilate, more oxygenated blood moves into the tissues surrounding the joint. This promotes healing, reduces inflammation and relieves pain.

Other Health Benefits

In addition to relieving pain, the infrared heater may boost metabolism, reduce the risk of high blood pressure, and lower the risk of blood clots as well as help flush out toxic substances from the body. This helps to increase the elasticity of the blood vessel walls and improves the immune system of the body in general. Skin ailments such as scars, acne and burns are improved because of the increase in blood flow to the surface of the skin.

The infrared heater will promote weight loss because the metabolism is increased.  As your body begins to get warmer, you will begin to sweat more which boosts metabolism.

The Benefits Of A Sauna Without All The Sweat

An example of this is the health benefit you get from visiting an infrared sauna.  As your body generates the excessive sweat produced in a sauna, you naturally feel more refreshed.  While you won’t sweat as much in your home as you would in the sauna, you will get the same type of rejuvenated feeling.

You can see how owning and using an infrared heater in your home will produce relief from chronic aches and pains which other heaters just can’t provide.
